Brahmastra: Part One of Three, also known as Brahmastra, is the upcoming 2020 India print directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar Native language action movie. The film is composed of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna (Nagarjuna). Plays a key role and will be the first movie in the planned trilogy. The main photography started in Bulgaria in February 2018, and the film is scheduled to be released in standard formats, 3D and IMAX on December 4, 2020.
Producer Karan Johar announced the movie on Twitter on October 11, 2017, and revealed that it will be made into a movie trilogy. Preparations for this film began in January 2018. Kapoor revealed in an interview that Mukherjee “has spent six years of his life trying to produce an original story”, and the trilogy will be produced within 10 years and be rejected. The rumors suggest that this is a romantic superhero movie. Kapoor instead confirmed that the film is a “romantic fairy tale in a supernatural format.” Movies are not “no truth or incredible” things.
Originally, the title of the movie was “Dragon”, but it was later confirmed as “Brahmastra”. Director Ayan Mukerji explained that the title of “Brahmastra” resonates with “ancient wisdom, energy and power”, and Mukherji also revealed that this is a “contemporary film with ancient elements.”.
Nagarjuna also confirmed that he will play a “pivotal” role. Mouni Roy revealed in an interview that she is playing the “only antagonist” in the movie.
The main photography started in February 2018, and the schedule for the first film began on February 24, 2018. The first work of the film was completed in Bulgaria on March 24, 2018. The shooting of the second film continued in Bulgaria, then London on July 8, 2018, in London, New York, and then in Bulgaria. Wide-range shooting began on February 1, 2019 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The 20 days are scheduled to start at Ramnagar Fort and Chet Singh Fort in Varanasi on July 30, 2019.
The first part of this trilogy film was officially announced on August 15, 2019, but the release date was postponed to Christmas 2019, but later due to incomplete VFX work, it was postponed again to the summer of 2020, and then finally postponed Until December 4, 2020. Will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
