“Fatman” is an upcoming American dark comedy-action film, written and directed by Eshom Nelms and Ian Nelms and starring Mel Gibson, Walton Goggins, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. David Gordon Green and Danny McBride served as executive producers of the film.
To avoid a decline in business, Chris Cringle (Mel Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, was forced to form a partnership with the US military. To make matters worse, Chris was caught in a deadly intellectual fight with a highly skilled assassin (Wharton Goggins) who was employed by a precocious 12-year-old after adopting a pile of coal.
On May 8, 2019, it was announced that Gibson will play Santa Claus in the film. On January 29, 2020, it was announced that Walton Goggins played in the movie. On February 3, 2020, it was announced that Marianne Jean-Baptiste will be participating in the movie.
The main photography took place in Ottawa in February 2020. Saban Films obtained the distribution rights for the film in the United States in September 2020. The film is scheduled to be shown in some theaters in the United States on November 13, 2020. The release date for Australia is November 19th. , 2020.
