“His Dark Materials Season 2” is a fantasy film and television series adapted from the novel series of the same name by Philip Pullman. It was produced by Bad Wolf and New Line Productions for BBC One and HBO, the latter responsible for international distribution.

The first series of the eighth episode premiered on BBC One in the United Kingdom on November 3, 2019, and on HBO in the United States and other markets on November 4. Before the premiere of the series, his “Dark Matter” was renewed as the second episode, a total of seven episodes, which will premiere in the United Kingdom on November 8, 2020 and in the United States on November 16, 2020.

“His Dark Materials” is set in a multi-world reality, where the actions are transferred from one world to another. The story begins in an alternative world, in this world, all human beings have animal companions called demons, which are the embodiment of the human soul.

The series tells the life of a young girl named Lyra, an orphan, living with scholars at Oxford Jordan College. Just like in Pullman’s novel, Lyra has discovered a dangerous secret involving Lord Asriel and Marissa Kurt. In the process of searching for missing friends, Lyra also discovered a series of kidnapping incidents, which were connected with a mysterious substance called “dust”, which made her embark on an epic journey and will join a girl named Will’s boy crosses the road.

On July 24, 2019, it was announced that the series will premiere in the United Kingdom and the United States in the fourth quarter of 2019. According to sources, the series premiered on BBC One on September 12, 2019 on November 3, 2019, and premiered on HBO the next night.

In New Zealand, the series is broadcast by Sky TV and can be viewed on the streaming service Neon. The series began on November 5, 2019. In Australia, the series is distributed by the cable and satellite television company Foxtel through its HBO export transaction.
