Prime Time 2021 is a Polish drama thriller directed by Jakub Piątek and written by Łukasz Czapski. This is his directorial debut. The film is composed of Bartosz Bielenia, Magdalena Popławska, Andrzej Kłak, Małgorzata Hajewska-Krzysztofik, Dobromir Dymecki and Monika Frajczyk.
The film will premiere worldwide at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival on January 30, 2021.
On New Year’s Eve in 1999, an armed man entered the TV studio during the broadcast, took the host hostage, and made a request: live news.
