The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier 2021” is an upcoming American television short film produced by Malcolm Spellman for the upcoming Disney micro-streaming service, adapted from Marvel comics characters Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. It is located in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and shares continuity with the series of movies. The series of activities took place after the movie “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). The series is produced by Marvel Studios, with Spellman as the lead writer and directed by Kari Skogland.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan played Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in the film series, respectively. Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, and Wyatt Russell also starred. As of September 2018, Marvel Studios is developing a series of limited series for Disney+, with a focus on supporting characters in MCU movies. Spellman was hired in October in “Falcon” and Write one on “Winter Soldier”. The series was officially confirmed in April 2019 with the participation of Mackie and Stan. Skogland will be hired next month. Filming started in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2019, and then moved to the Czech Republic in early March 2020. Production was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in Atlanta in September 2020. Filming ended in October in the Czech Republic.

Henry Jackman scored “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain America: Civil War”, and he started scoring the series by December 2020.
