Yes Day 2021

Alison and Carlos Torres are married and have three children: Katie, Nando, and Ellie. When they first met, they liked to take risks and agreed on everything. However, once they have children, they feel that they must say “no” to protect their children.

One night, they were called into a parent-teacher meeting at the school, and they found that Katie and Nando had submitted school work, calling their mother a dictator. Alison expressed frustration at the way her children treated her and told Carlos that she felt he let her play the role of “bad police” with the children. Mr. Deacon is a school employee with a six-year-old father. He eavesdropped and shared with them. From time to time, he maintains order at home through “yes day”: within a 24-hour period, parents cannot say no within a reasonable range.

Carlos and Allison introduced this idea to the children and told them that if they are not in trouble, do housework and improve their grades, they can get it in the “yes day” Return. Katie bet Allison that if her mother can have an unforgettable day, Katie will join her mother in Fleekfest. If she fails to do so, Katie will be allowed to go with a friend, Laila. The children finally managed to spend the day and compiled a list of five activities for the day. First, Ellie dressed her parents in crazy clothes.

Next, they order a huge sundae worth $40, and if they can eat it all within 30 minutes, they can enjoy it for free. Then, they put down the windows and washed the car.

Next, they participate in a capture-the-flag competition. Each family member leads a team. The goal is for one team to catch the other team and throw balloons with Kool-Aid at the opponent. Alison won the competition for her team and left a deep impression on the children. However, Carlos wanted to quit “Yes Day”, but finally decided that he couldn’t bear to disappoint his children.

The fourth game is a trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where the whole family rides a roller coaster. When Katie walked away, Allison saw a text message on Layla’s daughter’s phone saying that she and Katie would hang out with the big boy at Fleekfest. Allison told her to place a bet and she was going to Fleekfest with her (not Layla). Injured, Katie dashed. In order to apologize for Katie’s pink gorilla, Allison and Carlos had a dispute with another person in the amusement park and were arrested.

The children sneaked away. Katie and Layla go to Fleekfest together, but it quickly becomes uncomfortable to be alone with the big boy, and her friend abandons her. Nando held a “nerd party” in the house as the last big event, but when Ellie accidentally caused a bubble explosion inside the house for the backyard, it quickly lost control.

Meanwhile, Katie’s phone died while trying to contact her siblings, and she panicked. With the help of H.E.R., who was in the event, Allison found Katie and they reconciled. she was. They were moved and invited to sing on stage. Carlos returned home and eventually became a disciplinary officer, forcing the party to stop, and the children helped clean up. As the days approached, Ellie made one last request. They played games in their backyard tents around the clock until Nando’s bubble bombs (rushing to the toilet) started filling the house.

In a scene with moderate credit, the Torres family and other players used Kool Aid balloons on the “Capture the Flag” field to report Mr. Deacon as revenge for the original suggestion of “Yes Day”.
