Snakes on a Train

“Snakes on a Train” is a direct film horror thriller screened by the sanctuary on August 15, 2006. The film is inspired by the movie “Snakes on a Plane”, which is scheduled to be released three days later in August 2006 18th.

Although the same basic ideas are derived from “Snakes on a Plane” (many deadly snakes are killed due to claustrophobia and high-speed transportation), the backstory about how the snake ends up on the train is different.

In the film, a woman is attracted by the Mayan curse, which causes snake eggs to hatch in her belly and eat them. In order to retrieve her (the snake) “reliclost pieces”, she must travel to Los Angeles, where a powerful Mayan wizard can lift the curse. She put the snake in a small jar with her. On the train, gangsters attacked her, allowing the snake to escape and endangering other passengers.

In the end, inexplicably, she herself became a giant snake, devouring the moving train. Six passengers managed to escape unharmed, and one of the passengers performed a magic ritual to make her disappear. However, a girl was shown to be bitten unknowingly, which indicates that the curse will continue to exist.

According to co-producer David Rimawi, “Asylum” initially had no intention to make the film, but they started when the earlier film plans failed. When looking for an international distributor in Cannes, a group of Japanese investors saw the movie poster and asked if there was really a giant snake eating the train (this was not part of the movie). In response, Rimawi asked his film crew to add the above scenes to the film in Los Angeles to satisfy the Japanese audience.
